The Korçë program of the fourth edition of the Gjon Mili International Video Art Festival concluded on Monday with the activities of its third day.
Throughout the final day, visitors had the opportunity to attend the festival’s video art and film program at GAD Gallery, where works were presented in a continuous loop format. Festival participants also took part in a retreat to the village of Vithkuq, including a tour of the area’s historic churches.
After three days of screenings, artist presentations, discussions, and cultural activities in Korçë, the festival now moves to Dhërmi, where it will continue from June 18 to June 20.
The Dhërmi program will take place across several locations in the village, including Kostandini Heleni Square, Miti’s House, Vaso’s House, Milo’s House, and Petroo Marko Square. Over the course of three days, audiences will have the opportunity to experience screenings, exhibitions, and video art installations by international artists.
Festival activities will be open daily from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, transforming the village of Dhërmi into an open cultural space for artists, filmmakers, and visitors.
On June 18, the first day of the Dhërmi program will feature exhibitions and screenings hosted in traditional village houses, presenting a selection of short films, documentaries, and video art works by artists from different countries around the world.
With the conclusion of its Korçë chapter, the Gjon Mili International Video Art Festival continues its journey on Albania’s southern coast, bringing three more days of contemporary visual art and moving-image works to Dhërmi.
